RAYS OF SUNSHINE
Through unique partnerships with the Miss America Organization, friendships formed during stays at the Ronald McDonald House Charities, interactions through social media, and a variety of community events, the "Rays of Sunshine" program has been formed.
What is it?
"Rays of Sunshine" provides unique physical, mental and emotional support to patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and like conditions. From simple cards sent in the mail, friendship bracelets, blankets, and even warrior glam bags, Rays of Sunshine extends uplifting positivity to patients, from patients.
Patients may join the Rays of Sunshine Network and the monthly Anonymous Angel's Gift Exchange to connect and share small pieces of positivity among each other or patients may choose to ask for a Ray of Sunshine to be fulfilled by one of our patient advocates.
For the Holidays, we are running a special Gift Exchange program for spoonies of all ages, from anywhere in the world, to connect and share gifts (with a $20 limit). Learn more about the Secret Santa Gift Swap.
Warrior Glam Bags is a special program originally envisioned by Ashley, an EDS teen patient. She wanted to create something special that could deliver age-appropriate gifts to teenage girls in the hospital. Learn about Warrior Glam Bags, here
