How To Help and get involved with The Zebra Network

There are tons of ways to aid The Zebra Network and even make a difference in your community for those with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome!

  • Join the Advocacy Team 

  • SHare your story While Hosting a Fundraiser

    • Businesses like Chipotle, Chick-fil-A (contact your local store), Buffalo Wild Wings, Five BelowApplebee's, California Pizza Kitchen, Chili's, Panera, T.G.I. Friday's, and more allow you to hold spirit nights and fundraisers that are the perfect opportunity to share your personal story, raise awareness about Ehlers Danlos, and to raise money to help The Zebra Network
      • When  host a fundraiser it is important to know that The Zebra Network is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all contributions are tax-deductible!

  • host a donation Drive

    • The Zebra Network is always in need of new blankets, small travel and neck pillows, personal care products, snacks, and more for our Patient Support Packages. These packages are integral when for both patients and caretakers when they must travel for surgery and other medical purposes. We rely nearly 100% on donations and your drives help give comfort and support to patients when they need it most! 
  • Contribute Written works or videos to the Patient Guidebook

    • Have ideas for what can be included in our Patient-to-Patient Guidebook? Submissions go here!
  • VOlunteer to be a peer Mentor

    • Mentoring can be extremely helpful especially when someone is newly diagnosed. It is also always nice to have a friend who understands what life with EDS is like.

  • Become a patient LIAISON 

    • Many of our patients are overwhelmed during medical appointments and often lack support. 
    • Volunteering your time to assist a patient during a medical appointment is a great responsibility with massive benefits.
